International Crude Oil Price of Indian Basket Moves up on 28.06.2012 to US$ 91.95/BBL

The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas increased to US$ 91.95 /barrel (bbl) on 28.6.2012.The price was higher than US$ 91.66 /bbl on the previous trading day of 27.6.2012.

In rupee terms, however, the crude oil price decreased to Rs 5233.79 per bbl on 28.06.2012 from Rs 5244.79 per bbl on 27.06.2012. This was due to rupee appreciation with rupee-dollar exchange rate on 28.06.2012 at Rs 56.92 /US$ against Rs 57.22 /US$ on 27.06.2012.
