Air India’s Domestic Passenger Market Share Increases to 20.8% in October 2012

The domestic passenger data for the last six months shows consistent increase in the market share of Air India. It has risen from 16.2% in May 2012 to 20.8% in October 2012. Domestic Air Passenger Data for September 2012 Released

DGCA Approves Winter Schedule 2012 of Scheduled Domestic Airlines

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has approved the Winter Schedule 2012 of scheduled domestic airlines effective from 28th Oct 2012.In all, 10,935 departures per week have been approved, which translate into 1562 daily departures.Air connectivity will be available to/from 73 airports in the Winter Schedule 2012.
