International Price of Crude Oil - Indian Basket Inches up to US$ 115.85/BBL on 25.04.2012

The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for a barrel slightly increased on 25.4.2012 to US$ 115.85 per barrel (bbl). The price was US$ 115.57 /bbl on previous trading day i.e. 24.04.2012.

In rupee terms, however, the crude oil price decreased to Rs 6080.97 on 25.4.2012 as compared Rs 6100.94   per bbl on 24.04.2012. This was due to rupee appreciation with rupee-dollar exchange of Rs 52.49 /US$ on 25.4.2012 against Rs 52.79/US$ on 24.04.2012.
