-Rawanwara North Coal Block allotted to SKS Ispat and Power Ltd.
-New Patrapara Coal Block allotted to M/s Bhushan Steel Ltd. and others.
Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ch. Ajit Singh has asked Air India to submit to him in a week’s time a plan to enhance its share in the domestic passenger market. The detailed plan has to include month-wise targets of market share alongwith corresponding strategy to achieve these targets for the next one year.

National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC) under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment was set up to promote economic and developmental activities for the benefit of members of Backward Classes living below double the poverty line.
NBCFDC has assisted more than 1.39 lakh beneficiaries by disbursing an amount of Rs. 215.65 crore during 2011-12. Achieved the growth of 23% in disbursement of fund and 8.22% in assisting the Backward Classes beneficiaries.
The Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has reviewed international prices of crude oil and petroleum products during the Ist fortnight of September 2012. Accordingly, the under-recovery on High Speed Diesel (HSD) applicable for 2nd fortnight of September effective 16.09.2012 is at a high level of Rs 13.86/Litre despite last week’s price hike .
The index of mineral production of mining and quarrying sector in July 2012 was lower by 0.5% compared to that of the preceding month. The mineral sector has shown a negative growth of 0.7% during July 2012 as compared to that of the corresponding month of previous year.
A recent review of Digitization progress by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has revealed that 68% of Cable TV Digitization has already been achieved in the 4 metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.
